The Solfeggio scale

The Solfeggio Frequencies

The Solfeggio frequencies are a set of tones — six original and three later additions — each commonly associated with a particular theme in sound-healing tradition, plus 432 Hz, a popular alternative tuning. Pick a tone to hear it, learn where its association comes from, and find honest ways to retune your own music. None of these are medical treatments.

The word “Solfeggio” comes from the sol-fa syllables (Ut, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La) of a medieval hymn. The associations shown here are drawn from that tradition and from modern sound-healing writing — they describe how the tones are perceived, not proven effects.
